Located in the heart of Coopers Beach, Doubtless Bay Dental is your friendly local, independently owned and operated dental practice. We provide a comprehensive range of professional dental services to patients in the Far North region.

Established by Dr Burkhardt (Natalie) in 2009, after she identified a need in the local community for a modern patient-focused dental practice, the Doubtless Bay Dental team has now been providing quality, painless dentistry for more than a decade!
Passionate about providing education as part of a dental wellbeing philosophy centred around prevention and early intervention, Natalie works with patients to ensure they have the knowledge required to keep their smile looking good for years to come.
One of the many testaments to our extraordinary level service is that we have patients coming back year after year. (Some patients even travel to have their dental treatments with us from the other side of the world!) Come in and say hello! We would love to meet you.

Routine Exams
Don't wait for problems to arise; get your six-monthly or annual dental check-ups and ensure your mouth always has
a clean bill of health.
Hygiene & Periodontal Care
3, 6, or 12 monthly dental hygiene visits are advised to keep teeth and gums happy. We can assist with scaling and cleaning, as well as providing periodontal assessment, treatment, and surgery.
Dental Fillings & Extractions
Ouch! Don't put up with a hole in your tooth! Come in to have it painlessly filled with a composite or ceramic filling. If you need an extraction, our team will ensure your experience is pain-free!
Laser Dentistry
We are a high-tech bunch at Doubtless Bay Dental! The Waterlase dental laser provides patients with a great range of painless treatment solutions. Best of all? No more horrible old drill sound!
Crowns, Bridges & Veneers
A crown can be a great solution to make an existing tooth look like new again. We offer PFM (Porcelain fused to metal) crowns a range of bridge solutions as well as offering a wide range of other functional and cosmetic dentistry solutions to suit your budget and needs.

"Dr Eru grew up in Kawerau and finished his secondary schooling at Rotorua Boys' High School. After seeing the amount of confidence that his older sister gained after getting braces, Dr Eru wanted to be able to do the same for other people. After Dr Eru graduated from Otago university in 2016, he found himself working in Auckland, after which he moved back home to Rotorua. Growing up in the Bay of Plenty, Dr Eru was exposed to fishing, hunting and diving early in life and continues to be his passions outside of work. Dr Eru enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in oral surgery/wisdom extractions and aims to make dentistry as comfortable as possible"

"Dr Lee joined our practice at the end of 2020 after graduating from University of Otago with a degree in bachelor of dental surgery. Dr Lee is fluent in three languages which includes English, Mandarin, Malay and is learning Te reo. Growing up in Brunei with three sisters, she had a fascination with New Zealand which drove her decision to pursue her studies at Otago. Her interests include badminton, swimming, tennis, fishing, cooking, hiking and gardening. Dr Lee’s focus is on delivering gentle dentistry and patient education."
